Wild Boar and Winter at Night :)

Sooooo tonight was my first time ever trying wild boar, i have to say its much different than i expected, its a darker meat unlike regular pork, and more steakish thank porkish if thats any help for a description at all, not as fatty, and a bit chewier kind of like a well done steak or jerky, the flavor was great, we ate at Aburi-An a japanese yakiniku house, I honestly was not expecting the wild boar I just ordered a plate of meat and the waiter was sure to warn us americans that this part was wild boar ha ha there always so considerate, I soooo love that, but I do like to try things i have never tried and was excited to find out that this wasnt your regular pork!

One other thing that we tried which I have to say scared me a little bit, well ok i have tried it but never on purpose was raw chicken, we ordered chicken rolls covered in a apricot sauce and i just assumed it was cooked chicken hehe well it was lightly seared then rolled up so that the inside of the entire roll was raw chicken, but i figured ehhh if there serving it to us its probably safe and popped it into my mouth ok quite tasty in fact....... buttttt like my stepfathers insane yummy ahi tuna that is meant to only be seared then raw on the inside i can only block my mind out to only taste for so long! i ended up tossing those lil chicken rolls onto the grill for a few ( i know BLAH bad) all in all this place was great i give it an 8 combining ambiance, price, service and quality of food!
